I am a concept artist myself (www.adambrayart.com) and just wanted to say that I think these new characters that have been released for Mortal Kombat X are awesome! I have not been a MK fan since the early games, but now for the first time in years will be buying an MK game.
Previously I have not liked how there were so many sub-zero/scorpion derivative characters (I feel they dilute how cool sub-zero and scorpion are), nor have I liked the ever-growing list of half-naked, fake breasted ninja ladies, or strange mixing of robots, demons, ninja, movie stars, etc. I felt that it was conceptually all over the place. However, this new batch of released characters feels totally different - far more mature and individual in the character design. These guys ooze with individuality and unique identity. Great work!
I like this stuff so much that my mind can't stop concepting more characters for this world. First time in awhile that I really wish I was part of the team. I can't wait to see the next batch of released characters! Really good work.
